The Balance Board is fun to play with and also suitable for serious yoga exercises or a perfect tool for fitness. It is made of eleven layers of birch wood veneer, which makes the board very sturdy but remains flexible and bendable. There is a variant that is covered on the underside with the durable material cork, which gives a damping effect. But it is also nice if you want to do your exercises on a hard surface and also want to protect your floor. The Balance Board from 'TicToys' is produced in Germany from PEFC certified German wood and treated with ecologically sound paint or oil.
The Balance Board comes with a booklet full of yoga and fitness exercises. These exercises will help you improve your mobility, balance, stability and coordination. Under the supervision of a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, the Balance Board is a suitable aid for recovery exercises. Even speech therapists use the Balance board by using it to improve posture.
